Black Friday is Coming… Are You Ready?
October has come and gone and its turkey season! We all know what that means? Apple pies, stuffing, canned cranberries, macaroni, mashed potato, yams, and some good ole turkey. Add a trifecta of NFL games throughout the day and we have a recipe for the best day ever. I love me some Thanksgiving.
The party doesn’t stop after dinner. With Black Friday, everybody’s gonna go bananas and try to go to the store on a Thursday night or Friday morning just to score a no brand TV. Do NOT be that gal or guy. Here are a few questions to ask yourself before leaving your family and going out in the cold to line up for some deals.

Black Friday can be a big impulse buy trap. Don’t fall for it and get into a buying frenzy even online. Black Friday, followed by Cyber Monday, can be a blessing or a curse for our wallets. If you have waited to buy certain items until November to save some money, wise of you to do so. If you fall into the trap of buying a 50 inch TV and extra laptop because….reasons? You have fallen right in to the black hole Friday trap. Don’t say things like
I need a TV in the bathroom while I poop so I don’t miss anything.
Or
My laptop is two years old so I can just give it to my future baby.
Say it with me.
I will only purchase items that I need that would give me maximum HPD (Happiness per Dollar)
I have given you the tools of knowledge. Black Friday has no chance. You’re ready.
